As a licensed master social worker in the State of Michigan, I am a psychotherapist in private practice in the Greater Lansing area and a workshop speaker, having received a master of clinical social work degree from Michigan State University and a bachelor degree in psychology from the University of Houston. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers. As a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor, I enjoy empowering individuals and couples who seek RECOVERY from short-term or long-term problems with:

My theoretical orientation is eclectic, meaning I utilize a variety of therapeutic perspectives including cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and solution-focused therapy approaches. I believe in every client's desire and ability for healing, wholeness and positive change, and I work collaboratively with the client in every step of the healing process. My approach is like that of a supportive coach or mentor, ever mindful to walk with a client but not for a client.
